Footnotes: In our search for a bull to use in our heifer pen Exceed came to our attention. We liked his 81 lb. birthweight and calving ease EPDs combined with acceptable performance EPDs. We were impressed with his sire when he was sold and secured a semen interest in him. We had also used Drake Poker Face and found his calves to be very saleable. The combination of 51F's potential calving ease and bloodlines we were familiar with, made it seem like it would fill a role for us. After working this summer 51F has developed into a moderate framed, deep, thick bull and we look forward to calves.
