This powerful son of Horizon was the high selling bull in our 34th annual sale at $59,000 to X-T Simmentals.

He was one of our favourite bull calves all summer and continued to be a favourite right up until sale time.

He's long, deep, very thick-butted, has lots of top and a great hair coat, plus his dam has an established track record behind her. His stylish correct structure, very acceptable numbers and 40.5 cm testicles all added to the reasons we felt he had tremendous herd sire potential. It was a difficult decision to include him in the sale offering.

When he was purchased by X-T, whose calving and breeding season is much later than ours, we were fortunate to be able to purchase April and May walking rights in 16A so he could walk in both programs.

We are very pleased with his calves. They have growth and performance and were very popular in our 2016 bull sale, with IPU 74C being the high selling bull at $95,000 to Boundary Ranch, SK and Bouchard Livestock, AB.
