Footnotes: (excerpts from the sale catalogue footnotes) Soda Pop is a full brother to the six Soda Pop heifers that sold at the 2014 Friday Night Lights Sale averaging $16,000. He was shown in the fall of 2014 and stood up at the top of each show making a lot of friends. He won the All-Breeds Stars of the Future Jackpot Purebred Champion Bull Calf at the Olds Fall Classic. 14B is very clean, and long-necked which flows nicely into a smooth shoulder. Long-bodied with lots of hard muscle with great hair and a perfect profile. Super stout, big wide round hipped, thick-topped and sound-footed. A calf that was a standout at birth, and admired ever since.
We were pleased to have the opportunity to purchase this bull for $18,000 at the 2015 Mountainview Bull Sale. He looks impressive with his thickness and depth, and we think he will have a positive impact on our program.
His first calf crop came easy in the spring of 2016, and were popular at our 2017 Bull Sale, a son sold as Lot 33 for $24,000.
