Footnotes: The search for a new red herdbull led us to LFE Vegas 3145A selling at the 30th annual Lewis Farms Bull Sale. This 1910 lb. dbull prospect impressed us with his thickness, balance and good temperament. He is structurally correct and walks like a cat. His pedigree features bulls that have been very influencial plus his dam is a member of Lewis' productive Amber cow family.
Vegas had many admirers leading off and topping the red Simmental portion of the sale, selling for $87,500 to LaBatte Simmentals and Oberle Bros. We think he will strengthen many economic traits in our programs. We sold the first Vegas sons in our 2017 Bull sale and they were well received and we will have more progeny in our 2018 sale.
